Delivery Policy Regarding Shipping
Delivery of products is done to all the postal addresses in the world. However, there are certain countries in which we do not operate which will be notified if an order is placed from that country. The list of countries where we operate, is subject to change with respect to amendments of laws of the country. We have contracted third parties for shipping the products. We have tie-ups with reputed international courier companies such as DHL, TNT, FedEx, DTDC etc. Since these agents do not deliver to P.O. Box address, therefore we request the users to give full address along with the zip code of the area. Please note that residential shipments to some countries will be left at door if someone is not available at delivery address to receive the package or no one answers the doorbell. We are not responsible for any delay caused by any unforeseen time lags by the courier companies in delivering the parcels to the customer, or if the customer is not available at the time of delivery.
Most of the countries have 5 day work culture, therefore no delivery is made during the weekends in those countries. Also, in many Islamic countries Friday`s are considered normal off day. Our courier partners don’t operate on Saturdays, Sundays and on public holidays, thus, no shipments will be despatched from the store on these days.
On a special request we can try to organize dispatch on Saturday, if possible. However we don’t encourage it. The delivery of products are made during the normal working hours of the courier companies, which could vary in country to country.
Shipping rates are based on product and may differ for different items and country to country. We always strive to offer our customers the lowest shipping charges possible, which are transparent and fair. Please note that shipping companies determine shipping charges based on the package weight. As per courier companies’ standard, the weights of the products may rounded up to the nearest 500 grams as per the policy of the courier agents. In case, if Free Shipping is offered by us on a particular or more amount of order, please note this offer is applicable on the base cost of the products only (excluding cost of Inskirt/ Peticoat, Fall and edging or customize blouse etc.). Please see the current shipping offer in the top left shipping message on the website.
Timeline of delivery
We ship all the products from India by the fastest route possible based on the selected shipping option. The delivery by the courier partners may vary across countries. Most of the deliveries across European and Middle East countries gets delivered within 3 to 5 business days after despatch the product.
In Transit Risk
The risk of goods in transit is born by us. However, this risk gets transferred once the goods are delivered to customer’s address. The company takes no responsibility for any kind of damage or loss of goods after being left at the destination.
Once an order is placed and despatched to the courier agency, an automated mail is sent to you which contains the details of the shipment such as courier partner’s website, courier tracking number and the estimated delivery date. These tracking number gets activated within 24 hours of the despatch of goods. You can track your orders in courier partner’s website or after logging into your account at our website.
VAT & Custom Duties
Please note that if there are any customs or duties applicable for the ordered items, it would be billed separately to the customer by the courier company at the time of delivery. The duties and taxes are not a part of the customer’s payment made to CoutureMahal.com for the ordered products.
VAT / Custom Taxes and Import Duties are not in our control. They vary according to the rules of various countries and must be paid directly by you. VAT / Custom Taxes and Import Duties are not included in our ordering process, but may be charged to you by your government.
International customers are responsible for any customs or duty fees levied by their country. We have no control over these charges and cannot predict whether they will occur, as policies vary country to country. They are completely your responsibility. The courier company may also charge some additional service charges over and above custom duty on case to case basis, if applicable.
Times to ship mentioned on our website against each item are indicative and approximate values only and sometimes due to situations beyond our control, delays may occur. No refund, returns, replacement & exchange will be entertained for these reason. Since, we value to our customers, some benefits such as some store credit can be awarded for future orders, etc. on a case to case basis only, if applicable.
If, for any reason, there is going to be a delay in shipping because an product is out of stock or If there is an unusual delay in filling an order, we will notify you by e-mail.
Address Change Requests
Once an order is placed, you don’t encourage to make any alterations. However, address alteration request may be accommodated within 48 hours of placing the order or before the product dispatched by us, whichever is earlier. You may contact our customer care for any such request.
Multiple Address to an Order
